How can free spaces be conquered in a fragmented society as Lebanon's?
The article reflects on the notion of “free spaces” as both spatial and political categories. It examines how informal practices, temporary uses, and collective interventions challenge normative frameworks of urban design. Emphasis is placed on the potential of such spaces to generate agency, renegotiate access, and open imaginaries for alternative urban futures.
