SLBST Seminar, Seminar for FLINTA* Architecture Students
June 2021
Deutsches Architektur Zentrum (D A Z)

Concept, Curation, Moderation

SLBST. is a one-day seminar format addressing FLINTA* architecture students who are considering self-employment but rarely encounter concrete guidance in architectural education. The seminar combines input by leading figures from the German architecture scene with feminist entrepreneurship and sociological perspectives on labour and gender.

The seminar was conceived as a pilot in Berlin and was taken up by BDA regional groups and universities in other German federal states. Its modular design allows for the inclusion of local practitioners and for extensions into mentoring or equality/diversity programmes.
